“this sisel probiotic is fantastic. can actually feel the differnce which is nice. Better digestion and energy through out the day, but not jittery energy like coffee. Feeling good. I like mixing 1 sachet in a large tub of yogurt and let it sit on the bench overnight, it turns the whole thing in to probiotic yogurt! I am kind of obsessed.

Inulin Prebiotic + Surprising Weight loss Results ….

“So I thought I would pass this on because I found it interesting. I am a middle aged woman who went on a health kick five years ago, lost 20 plus pounds and have pretty much kept it off.

As an adult, I have always had “digestive issues” – irregularity, bloating, etc. – not to the point of IBS but annoying and chronic. My diet is both good and bad – plenty of fruits and veggies and lean protein, but also a lot of diet soda, coffee and some processed foods. Like everyone else, I have heard all about “probiotics”. I eat a lot of greek yogurt and have taken probiotics occasionally in the past but didn’t notice a big difference. I did start taking Metamucil which helped, but not consistently. I read recently that bulking agents like Metamucil can actually irritate and strip the digestive system of some of the good stuff.

I did more research and found info on “prebiotics” which essentially feed the good bacteria in your digestive system. Started taking probiotic with inulin about five weeks ago.

About two weeks in, I realized that I was A LOT more regular, bloated less often, etc. Then, I noticed I was losing weight without working as hard at it as I usually had to.

I had slacked off a little over the summer and felt “puffy” – a few pounds over my ideal weight. I have been busy at work and haven’t been able to exercise as hard as I would like to help lose the weight.

Nevertheless, I lost almost five pounds in the last month since starting the prebiotic and feel so much better! It feels like my system is working much more efficiently and my appetite is more consistent – i.e. I don’t have cravings or want to graze as much as I used to. I have read that having the right balance of good bacteria in your gut helps prevent the over production of hunger hormones like ghrelin.”
